Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer with a strong background in cloud services to join our growing team in Split, Croatia. This role will involve a 30/70 split between infrastructure tasks and backend development, with a primary focus on AWS. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that strengthen our platforms and user experiences.

Your key responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Collaborate with backend developers to integrate cloud services and ensure scalability and performance.
• Work on automating infrastructure processes and improving deployment pipelines.
• Provide support for on-premises infrastructure, learning from existing team members as needed.

Your Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of AWS and cloud service management.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with backend development, preferably in Python.
• Ability to work across cloud and on-prem environments, ensuring system reliability and redundancy.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Scala.
• Experience in setting up CI/CD pipelines and managing cloud security best practices.
• Background in both infrastructure and software development to bridge the gap between teams.
