Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated Backend Engineer to join our team in Split, Croatia. The role will focus on developing and maintaining backend systems using Python, with potential involvement in other languages such as Go or Scala. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality backend solutions that strengthen our platforms and user experiences.

Your responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python.
• Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and optimizing performance.
• Explore and adopt new technologies to improve backend services.

 
Your qualifications:

• Strong proficiency in Python and backend development.
• AWS knowledge is highly valued, as it plays a crucial role in our backend systems
• Willingness to learn and work with other programming languages (e.g., Go, Scala).
• Ability to write clean, scalable, and efficient code.

 
Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with additional languages such as Go or Scala.
• Understanding of cloud services (AWS) and how they integrate with backend systems.
• Knowledge of best practices in software development and testing.
